Creation & Earth History Museum and Bookstore is a hands-on museum, bookstore, and science center. Inside the museum are over 200 interactive displays. The museum is located at 10946 N Woodside Ave, Santee, CA 92071.  There are also fossils in the galleries which will help you understand the geologic time scale. The museum also has a bookshop that sells books on paleontology, archaeology, geology, history, and more.

There are several hands-on exhibits at the Creation and Earth History Museum that are perfect for kids. Some of the best ones are the Dinosaur Exhibit and the Human Evolution Gallery. The Dinosaur Exhibit is right inside the museum, so you can walk right through it if you’re not in a hurry. The Dinosaur Exhibit is filled with models, a full-size replica of a Stegosaurus, and a cast of the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

 

The Human Evolution Gallery is filled with models, fossils, and artifacts from the paleontology department at the museum. It’s a great gallery to walk through if you’re looking for a less-intimidating way to learn about human evolution. The Creation and Earth History Museum also has an interactive exhibit on the first floor called “Dinosaur Exhibit.” This exhibit explores the world of dinosaurs and includes a complete replica of a Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and a cast of the Triceratops. The replica of a Stegosaurus is the main attraction in the museum. The museum has a real Stegosaurus fossil that they use as the centerpiece of their Stegosaurus exhibit.
